A. Position Summary
To support plant lean transformation. To assist Lean manager of guiding and supervising 6 sigma projects and Lean Kaizen events for Lincoln’s operations in Shanghai & Nanjing. To lead and to drive a culture of application quality tools and continuous improvement mentality in operations in Shanghai & Nanjing.
B. Responsibilities
1.Promote and coordinate lean production & kaizen activities
2.Lead and personally execute lean transformation projects and activities with tangible business results using proven lean methodologies and techniques
3.Coach employees on Lean principles and tools (VSM, 5S, Visual Management, Kaizen, Kanban, and Standardize Work etc.)
4.Provide monthly improvements report
5.Help operation department control manufacturing relative cost
6.Based in Shanghai, 10% travel to Nanjing
C. Qualified Skills, Knowledge and Experiences
Qualifications/Educational Background:
Associate Degree of Science or Engineering, Major in Welding, Mechanical or Material Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
D Experience/Professional Background
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing plant.
Experience in project tracking and reporting.
Experience in Lean system.
Experience in Six Sigma.
Production supervising experience will be a plus
E Skills
Structured problem solving skill;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural / multinational environment
F Knowledge
knowledge of IE, Lean tools
G Languages
Good written and spoken English language ability;
