KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Communication with application engineers or others for CAD requets.
- Perform CAD work on Pro-E as a standard CAD environment in BorgWarner.
- Check the 3D model per request.
- Perform tolerance stack analysis if necessary.
- Dimensional or installation check review with design leaders or requesters before release.
- Support customers on site if needed for packaging study.
- Support suppliers for parts structure, dimension and manufacturability.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
- Experienced in mechanical design, 3-D modeling, and drawing releases
- Experienced in CAD tools, Expert of Pro-e
- Solid background in mechanical engineering design, material science
- Familiar with manufacturing methods (tooling), especially casting technology
- Familiar with international standards (materials,etc.)
- Good communication skill in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
